Sammi is one step closer to teenager

Samantha turned eleven this year, and the occasion merited a french toast and bacon breakfast. Here she is, looking a little dazed in the morning. She is training for her teenage years by trying to sleep in later and later, although she is usually in a good mood no matter what time she gets up.



We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to eat the delicious strawberry cake that Sammi made by herself. Here, she poses with a group I like to call "the kids".




She got an old pair of sunglasses and removed the lenses so she could just wear the frames. She likes the look, as do we all. We are trying to get her to wear them for others outside the family, but so far to no avail.



Isn't she beautiful? We can almost remember when she was born...
