Dinner and a ball game - the perfect date!

We went to my cousin Brian's new house for lunch and a swim before heading to the Sox-Angels game.  He has a big, new house and we were seeing it for the first time.  The backyard is a dream for me - big pool area, built in bar and grill area, large covered porch, at least two seating areas, a large expanse of concrete for game-playing, and a big lawn.  Very nice.
We were just minding our own business when suddenly, from behind...
Sammi and Grammy pose in front of the bar area.
Fun in the pool.
Zach had extraordinary balancing skills.
The gang poses for a shot before we ate.
The boys at the game.
Me and Brian - he is a Yankees fan, but we still talk to him.
It's a nice stadium.
The whole family.
Unfortunately, the Sox lost this game 3-0 with very little offense.  They had lost the night before by blowing a big lead in the ninth.  Luckily, this was just a minor glitch in a great season.

We had a good time on this whirlwind trip to California.  We left Saturday night and came back Monday morning.  Lots of driving but totally worth it.
