Still cold in the pool on the 8th

These crazy kids (Marissa, Sammi and Zachary) wanted to go swimming again, one week after we opened the pool. However, this was a different day - not sunny and warm, but overcast and cooler with a breeze. They still wanted to, so who am I to say no? Here is the three of them trying to get used to the 67 degree water. Notice the looks of pain and fear...

Marissa got in slowly but surely and finally swam across the pool. Her reaction seems mixed - first cold, then okay, then cold.

Sammi balked - she didn't want to go in.

However, she felt an obligation since her cousin went in, so she finally took the plunge.

As the summer progresses, we'll have more fun in the pool rather than the "jump, hypothermia, get out" experience thus far..
