Zach practices

Zachary had his first practice with his new team - the Astros. He was more excited to play than he has been in the past, so that was a positive thing. Here he is with his bat, glove and helmet, and of course, a camouflage shirt so we can't see him on the field.



He has improved since last year - he throws and catches better, and he swings hard and hits the ball well. He is also more willing to practice with Dad this season, so that will help improve his game. Compared to his teammates, he is near the top in hitting and middle of the pack in fielding and throwing.

We were recently informed that his team will not be the Astros, because those uniforms were not available, so we are anxiously awaiting the new team name.

Another season started for this guy - he is looking forward to having fun!
